The game was close throughout, with neither team able to build a significant lead. The Timberwolves took a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Mavericks rallied to tie the game with just over two minutes remaining.
The Timberwolves were able to hold on for the win, however, thanks to some clutch free throws from Edwards. The win keeps the Timberwolves' playoff hopes alive, but they will need to win their remaining games and get some help from other teams in order to make the postseason.
