Eagles boss Hodgson waits to learn extent of setbacks

Eze and Olise excelling for Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that he is waiting to learn the extent of injuries suffered by Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.

The duo were taken off in the 67th and 81st minute respectively during Palace's 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday, receiving rapturous applause from the home crowd.

Olise and Eze have been in excellent form for Palace this season, with the former scoring four goals in his last six appearances and the latter impressing with his creativity and dribbling skills.

Hodgson admitted that he is concerned about the injuries, but he is hopeful that they are not too serious.

"We'll have to wait and see," said Hodgson. "We'll get them scanned and see what the damage is. They're both very important players for us, so we'll be hoping for the best."

Crystal Palace are next in action on Tuesday when they travel to Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
